Already since years is Mr. Tihomir Pajtasev known to The Museum of Modern Art and has been participating here at Auctions and Performances (for instance The Museum of 20th Century, Photo Exhibition “Snacks”). His Art Achievement can be taken as serious research of ideas between pictorial-graphic and interpretative arts. It is typical for his work to look for connection of different media.
There is no question about the importance of his work to Austria and especially Vienna-his main field of creative work. There is hope, he will be able to realize many projects also in the time coming.

As such there developed a teamwork rich with ideas and their realisation in my charitable organisation “The Yellow Cross” International”. Mr Pajtasev has supported the organisation with the gift of this pictures, whose profits granted threaten children.

ENSEMBLE DE DANSE MODERNE TRUDY KRESSEL

Dear Sirs,
Tihomir Pajtasev has danced from 1980 to 1983 in my „Ensemble de Danse Moderne“, during doing his studies of the same subject.
I was impressed to see his intention, his thirst for knowledge and his joy on that he always wants to get ahead in the profession as a dancer and in “body language”. Because of all those reasons is he an interesting and important artist for me. His way of thinking to make from “body language” his true profession is absolutely entitled – and this is my dearest wish for him.
Now I prepare a new prerformance for autumn 93 and I were very lucky if Tihomir could have a leading part there although he lives in Austria for nearly 20 years.
As such I request you to find means and ways to give us this change and to give him the occasion to continue his research in different countries.

I know Mr. Tihomir PAJTASEV since his student time of the “Meisterklasse Prof. C. Unger” in the “Hochschule für angewandte Kunst”. I striked Mr. Pajtasev already at that time because of his consistent putting through of his ideas, which includes a specified circular of themes, it means that he pushes forward to the limits of the graphic art, “Körperlichkeit”, Performance Art and branches like this which he combined together and developed new and original possibilities of creation. Besides Mr. Pajtasev gave study-courses and training-colleges for artistic-creativ realization of movement-work in two-dimensional artistic-graphic work.

I watched his artistic development continuous and so Icould because of different events and exhibitions (for example Museum of the 20th century, Vienna, photo exhibition “Snacks”, different productions in the studio founded by him) observe that Mr. Pajtasev realized his target with determination and many talent.

His work concentrated itself during the latest years extraordinarily and it founded its remarkable recognition in the cultural publicity.

As such I hold with Mr. Tihomir Pajtasev as a realy interesting artistical creating personality and I hope that I have with that contributed to stabilize his changes in a positive sense in our country.

Tihomir Pajtasev has on July 31th, 1993 in the scope of our artistic events in the „Kastell Küb“ presented his works.
These works were matter of “Durotrans-Enlargements” of his photographs in form of light-installations.
His light-pictures showed to the whole interior decoration a clear effect of the rhythmic form and color dynamic, stillness and transparency by the caractaristic element of realization of movement-times to metaphorical language in the rooms of the Kastell.
